Help Combat Class Inequality in Canada!
In Canada, according to Statistics Canada, "the wealthiest households (top 20 percent) held more than two-thirds (67.1 percent) of all net worth in Canada, while the least wealthy households (bottom 40 percent) held 2.8 percent". This disparity in the distribution of wealth leads to people not being able to afford basic necessities from working full shifts, while wealthier people can afford all necessities and luxuries through working less and easier. By supporting the cause to raise the minimum wage and ensure fair scheduling and job benefits, as well as other causes, one can support workers' rights.Tackling this issue will indirectly lead to benefits for other communities too. marginalisation is intersectional, and the people that tend to be affected the most by class inequality are also non-white, queer, etc.
